Support Submission

Please follow the following steps:
Step#1: Make sure are eligible for funding. The guidelines are located in this website.
Step#2: Adding your research article to the Scientific Production Warehouse

- Take a screenshot, showing the application number and your article information.
Step#3: Get and Fill out the scientific deanship (DSR) form
Step#4: Get the similarity report from Researchers Support & Services Unit.
- Simply email (rssu@ksu.edu.sa) them your research article as pdf and they will provide you with the similarity report.
Step#5: Get the research page that appears on the Science Web site
Step#6: Get the report of the journal citation profile generated from the Web of Science for ALL YEARS.
Step#7: Submit the research center form via this link:

Support Conditions

Research articles published and indexed within Web of Science (ISI) databases are considered for DSR support if the following publication criteria are met:
- A sole acknowledgement to the concerned Research Center within KSU is clearly included.
“This research project was supported by a grant from the “Research Center of College of Computer and Information Sciences”, Deanship of Scientific Research, King Saud University.”
- Similarity index shall not reach 25%
- The periodical shall not fall within the least 10% as per Average journal impact factor percentile.
- Except for Q1 periodicals
- The maximum number of externally affiliated authors shall not exceed twice as much the number of KSU-affiliated co-authors.
- No more than two publications are published in the same periodical within the same year.
- If the corresponding author is affiliated to KSU, her/his affiliation and official KSU email address must solely be used.
- The applying co-author shall not have a research group (shall not be a PI?)
- The research article must be available on the web of science with all
- Date of publication
- Volume number
- Page numbers
- Publications in Hijacked periodicals are not supported.
- Only research articles are considered for support.
- Review articles are only considered for support if:
- The article is published in a periodical falling within Q1
- The applicant shall be the first or corresponding author
- Only current financial year publications are considered

Director Message
Scientific research and innovations play an important role in the progress and prosperity of nations. With the KSA vision of 2030 and in light of the digital transformation of all sectors, using of digital technology in the service of society and the scientific research in the fields of computing and technology has the largest share of government support. Therefore, King Saud University, represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research, made the initiative to support research and encourage the research process through the establishment of specialized research centers. We are here at the Research Center of the College of Computer and Information Sciences pleased to provide full logistical and material support to researchers in the college and postgraduate students.
