Why Computer Engineering?

Computer engineering is one of the most significant scientific studies of the 21st century. Its disciplines form the very foundations of the information technology sector — an increasingly critical pillar of Saudi Arabia's economic landscape.

Traditional Disciplines — Computer architecture, networks, and control systems provide a robust technical foundation for all engineering graduates.

Modern Specializations — Robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity represent the frontier of innovation that our graduates are prepared to lead.

National Impact — Our graduates are equipped to actively contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 and the broader development of the Kingdom's technology sector.

Research & Industry Partnerships — For over thirty years, our department has led innovative, multidisciplinary research initiatives and established strong partnerships with major industries to address engineering challenges facing our society.
